Really tired day today

For the last few days I have felt drained off all energy, but I have been to the doctors and she has given me some tablets that should help. So hopefully now I am on the mend.

Its been snowing a little bit here today, more like sleet though, that right fine powdery stuff, its been really cold too with a really bitter wind.

Haven't done much the last few days except sleep.

I would agree with her, he dosen't seem to sleep very much. Little bear is a pain to get to bed, but once she goes she does tend to sleep eight hours or more, although she does tend to get up in the night and swap beds sometimes, she still goes back to sleep.

The problem is if he is not getting the sleep he needs, it means you can't either, leaving you suffering from sleep deprivation.

It sounds like if pixie No 3's sleep could be sorted out it would do you all a favour.

How it tends to go at the moment is if he goes to bed about 8ish he'll wake up again after about 4/5 hours and he's awake awake...I mean bring eyed bushy tailed awake, there's just no sleep in him.after a couple of hours I might get him back off again but he'll always be up again around 4amish..Thing is I think he's often awake for a while before he pounces on me so it's hard to say exactly how much he is sleeping, but what ever it is isn't right. For a 6 year old he should be getting around 10 hours at least a night.Kim, thats the lady thats been working with him because of the ADHD is going to look into things more.

It definitely dosent sound right, that roughly menas he is sleeping about 5 to 6 hours a night, which isn't much for a child. And it means you are sleeping less, seen as you can't go to bed at eight oclock. Have you tried putting him to bed later, does that make any difference?

Little bear suggests a cup of hot chocolate, she says it works for her. Its true it does, half an hour later she's out like a light.

But I guess you've tried all these things, I hope, Kim turns something up.
