Demo day (or demolition day)
Well the demo guys arrived as promissed and oh my word did they go to town both kitchen and bathroom knocked back to the brick and the kitchen ceiling knocked down as well the noise was unbelievable but the dust wasn't as bad as I had feared largely because hubby kept the kitchen and living room shut and wedged open both back and front doors see photo's lol.

My oh my, they really are gutting that kitchen.From your pic's the bathroom was looking quite smart so why they doing that one?

ps, we where told we'd have a new kitchen after 10 years but 12 years on and minus a draw front etc we're still waiting...dunno if i'd cope well with a wercked kitchen though as it tends to be our room we live most in as it's big
It is a nuisance not having a kitchen but with ours being fairly small we don't spend that much time in there we mainly in living room as that is bigger, but I know what you mean if that's your main room would be even worse.
The bathroom was ok with the tiles and everything but there was paint on the bath that kept coming off, and also we didn't have a proper shower.
