Tra la lal la la la la la la
Little bear was ill today and sent home from school, so instead of going down town I went and did the dreaded food shop, hence the title. Trouble is I was gone so long that hubby thought I had gone to town.
Anyway at least thats done and I can concentrate on all the other stuff.
It occurs to me though perhaps we get so bogged down in the run up to Christmas with all the work we have to do that we miss out on all the Christmas spirit such as Christmas carols and love for your family and friends, its only when Christmas Eve finally comes that I sit down and listen to carols from kings, and then it feels like Christmas to me, and I can relax with my family, that to me is what Christmas is all about.
Hope all this makes sense.

I've the final food shop on thursday, mostly the basics but have said to all three pixies that they can chose something special they like for us all to share over xmas....amd I going to live to regret this I'm thinking.

I still have to go on Christmas Eve to get us a few bottles of something nice, I don't got before as the temptation to drink it before is too much lol.

oh, can well understand what you mean about the temptation...think I'll have to stop buying some mates a bottle as often have to go buy another one
